I am honored and excited to be the principal at Mount Gilead Middle School. I was fortunate and grew up in a similar area which is one of the things that drew me to Mount Gilead. As the building principal I will make it a priority to have a safe, welcoming, and challenging environment for our students.
I ask that you remain/become involved in your child’s education. Ask them what they are learning and establish high expectations for their effort and behavior. Our teachers undoubtedly work hard to provide a meaningful and challenging educational experience for all of our students. Your assistance in limiting classroom disruptions will help us effectively use every minute of class time. Working together will help your child reach their potential and succeed in and out of the classroom.
